Max Griffin is set to welcome Victor Valenzuela to the UFC in a welterweight clash at UFC Fight Night 274 on April 25 in Las Vegas.
The bout is scheduled to take place at the Meta APEX, with Griffin bringing a major edge in Octagon experience. He has 18 more UFC fights than Valenzuela and has been on the roster since 2016, compiling a 20-12 MMA record, including 8-10 in the UFC.
Griffin enters the matchup looking to halt a rough stretch, having dropped two straight and three of his last four.
Valenzuela arrives as a former Fury FC interim welterweight champion with a 13-4 MMA record and nine finishes in 14 professional wins. He trains out of MMA MASTERS in Hialeah, Florida.
Valenzuela previously earned a Dana White's Contender Series opportunity on the back of six consecutive regional victories, but fell by second-round knockout to Michael Oliveira. UFC Fight Night 274 will mark his official promotional debut.
