Mauricio Ruffy and Michael Chandler are set for a lightweight showdown on the main card of UFC Freedom 250, taking place at the White House in Washington DC.
Ruffy enters the bout with a 13-2 professional record and a 4-1 mark in the UFC. He is coming off a second-round finish of Rafael Fiziev at UFC 325, which followed a submission loss to Benoit Saint Denis that snapped his previous seven-fight winning streak.
Chandler brings a 23-10 professional record and a 2-5 UFC slate into the matchup. His last victory was a knockout of Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 in May 2022, after which he dropped three straight fights to Dustin Poirier, Charles Oliveira and Paddy Pimblett.
Betting odds via FanDuel list Ruffy as a -620 favorite, with Chandler at +430. Ruffy has trained with Alexander Volkanovski and others to address weaknesses in his game ahead of this fight.
Ruffy and Chandler are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 9:10 p.m. ET, with the bout streaming live on Paramount+.
