Marlon Vera is set to return to action against Charles Jourdain in a bantamweight bout targeted for UFC 331 on Sept. 19.
The matchup was announced by Iridium Sports Agency, which represents Vera. The event does not yet have a confirmed location or venue, and no other fights are currently confirmed for the UFC 331 lineup.
Vera enters the contest on a four-fight losing streak, all by decision, following his title shot against Sean O'Malley at UFC 299. His most recent victory was a unanimous decision over Pedro Munhoz at UFC 292 in August 2023.
Jourdain comes into UFC 331 riding a three-fight winning streak, featuring two guillotine submission finishes and a unanimous decision win in April.
