Marcus Buchecha will look for his first UFC victory when he faces Ryan Spann in the UFC Fight Night 274 main card opener at Meta APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Buchecha enters the bout with a 5-2-1 MMA record and a 0-1-1 mark inside the UFC, and is coming off a submission win over Amir Aliakbari at ONE 169 in November 2024. He was originally slated to meet Max Gimenis before Spann agreed to step in as a short-notice replacement.
Spann brings a 23-11 MMA record and a 9-6 UFC slate into the matchup, continuing his run at heavyweight. He is 1-1 in the division, most recently scoring a first-round submission of Lukasz Brzeski at UFC 318 last July after a second-round loss to Waldo Cortes-Acosta last March.
FanDuel currently lists the betting line at Buchecha -136 and Spann +116. The two heavyweights are expected to make their walk to the cage at approximately 8:10 p.m. ET, with the fight streaming live on Paramount+.
