Marcio Barbosa will make his UFC debut against Dennis Buzukja in the main card opener of UFC Fight Night 273 at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.
The matchup pits Barbosa, who carries a 17-2 MMA record and a four-fight winning streak, against Buzukja, who enters with a 12-5 record and a 1-3 run in the UFC after dropping three of his past four bouts.
Both Barbosa and Buzukja are alumni of Dana White's Contender Series, with Barbosa earning his UFC contract there last August. Barbosa was initially slated to fight the previous month before being booked in this spot.
The fight is scheduled as the main card opener and is expected to start at approximately 8:10 p.m. ET, streaming live on Paramount+. Barbosa is currently listed at -550 and Buzukja at +390 via FanDuel.
