Magomed Ankalaev and Khalil Rountree are set to clash in a five-round main event at UFC Fight Night 282 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The promotion announced the Ankalaev vs. Rountree matchup on Monday, confirming the light heavyweight bout as the card’s headliner. Vestnik MMA was first to report the pairing.
Ankalaev enters the main event with a 21-2-1 overall MMA record and a 12-2 mark in the UFC. Rountree brings a 10-7 MMA record, matching his 10-7 slate in the UFC.
UFC Fight Night 282 will take place at Etihad Arena, continuing the organization’s run of events on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
