Magomed Ankalaev has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 282, as Bogdan Guskov steps in to headline the Abu Dhabi card on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Ankalaev was originally scheduled to face Khalil Rountree in the main event at Etihad Arena, but Rountree withdrew from the bout due to injury. Guskov has been moved to replace him in the light heavyweight headliner.
Guskov enters the fight unbeaten in his past five outings and is coming off a majority draw against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 323 in December. He was initially slated for a rematch with Blachowicz at UFC Fight Night 282 in Serbia before being reassigned to face Ankalaev.
Guskov brings a 100 percent finish rate in his wins into the matchup, while betting odds from FanDuel list Ankalaev as a -500 favorite and Guskov as a +340 underdog for their clash in Abu Dhabi.
