Liz Carmouche Snags First Career Guillotine in PFL San Diego Win
28-06-26

Liz Carmouche delivered a statement finish in the PFL San Diego co-main event, submitting Viviane Araujo with a guillotine choke in the second round at Pechanga Arena.

The victory marked Carmouche’s fourth straight win and the first recorded guillotine choke of her career, adding a new wrinkle to the former Bellator women’s flyweight champion’s resume.

Carmouche, a longtime San Diegan who recently moved from Southern California to the Orlando area, picked up the victory in front of familiar territory despite the change in her home base.

In the headliner, A.J. McKee defeated Salamat Isbulaev by unanimous decision, handing Isbulaev the first loss of his career.
