King Green Chokes Out Jeremy Stephens, Extends Streak at UFC 328
10-05-26

King Green made a statement in the opening bout of the UFC 328 main card, submitting Jeremy Stephens by rear-naked choke.

Green secured the finish at 4:20 of the first round, earning his third consecutive victory and kicking off the main card in emphatic fashion.

After the win, Green used his mic time to address UFC brass directly. “Hey Hunter [Campbell], hey Dana [White], I’m one of the most exciting men to ever touch this mat,” he said, before adding, “I’ve been doing it for years and ain’t nothing going to change. I didn’t get my bonus last time so I had to tell them that.”

Green also summed up his fighting mentality with a vivid comparison: “You can submit me, you can knock me out but I feel like I’m Michael Myers, you can’t kill me!”

Stephens, described as a BKFC veteran, removed his gloves after the fight and left the octagon without speaking.
