Khamzat Chimaev put his preparation on display Thursday, holding an open workout ahead of his UFC 328 title fight with Sean Strickland.
With less than 10 days to go before his first attempted title defense in the UFC 328 main event, Chimaev worked out in front of select media at JAXXON House in Newport Beach, Calif.
The middleweight champion is scheduled to face Strickland for the title on May 9 at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., in the UFC 328 headliner.
During the session, Chimaev showcased his striking, ran through shadowboxing, and went through mitt work with coach Edmond Taverdyan as he continued his final preparations for fight night.
