Ketlen Vieira and several other fighters have been removed from the UFC roster, with the moves coming shortly after their most recent outings.
Vieira is no longer part of the UFC roster after a win over Jacqueline Cavalcanti on May 16. The bantamweight contender spent nearly a decade with the promotion, winning 10 of 15 UFC fights.
During her UFC run, Vieira was ranked No. 5 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings at bantamweight. Her résumé included victories over Sara McMann, Cat Zingano, Miesha Tate and Holly Holm. She went 3-3 in her last six UFC bouts, with decision losses to Kayla Harrison, Raquel Pennington and Norma Dumont.
Light heavyweight Ivan Erslan has also been removed from the roster following a win over Tuco Tokkos on May 16. Tokkos was likewise released.
In the flyweight division, Daniel Barez has been released after a decision loss to Luis Gurule at UFC Vegas 117. The changes mark a notable round of roster moves for the promotion.
