Justin Gaethje became the undisputed lightweight champion on June 14, 2026, stopping Ilia Topuria in the main event of UFC Freedom 250 on the South Lawn at the White House in Washington, DC.
Gaethje’s win came when Topuria could not continue for the fifth round, capping a card where all seven fights ended by knockout.
In the co-main event, Ciryl Gane knocked out Alex Pereira and captured UFC gold, adding another finish to a stacked lineup.
The rest of the card delivered the same kind of emphatic endings. Sean O’Malley, known as "Suga", stopped Aiemann Zahabi in the second round, while Josh Hokit finished Derrick Lewis in the second round for his fourth straight UFC win in seven months.
Mauricio Ruffy, called "One Shot", knocked out Michael Chandler in the first round to earn his second consecutive knockout victory. Bo Nickal secured a second straight technical knockout by defeating Kyle Daukaus.
Diego Lopes opened the event by knocking out Steve Garcia halfway through the second round, setting the tone for a night of finishes at UFC Freedom 250.
