Josh Hokit’s unbeaten rise continued with a unanimous decision win over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327, a matchup that was later described as one of the best MMA heavyweight fights in history.
Hokit, who was matched against Blaydes in April, pushed his record to 9-0 in MMA and 3-0 in the UFC with the victory. Blaydes now holds a 19-6 MMA record and a 14-6 UFC record.
The bout earned Fight of the Night honors at UFC 327, further spotlighting Hokit's surge in the heavyweight division.
Next, Hokit is scheduled to face Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14, an event set to take place on the South Lawn of the White House.
