Josh Hokit extended his unbeaten run with a dominant stoppage win over Derrick Lewis at UFC White House on Sunday.
Hokit defeated Lewis by referee stoppage at 4:09 of the second round after a one-sided performance that showcased his wrestling and finishing instincts.
The heavyweight repeatedly took Lewis down in the first round and unloaded ground and pound, then shifted gears in the second, hurting Lewis with punches before sealing the finish with a combination against the cage.
Post-fight, Hokit made his intentions clear on the mic. “I’m the man with the plan. The beast that’s ready to feast,” he said, before turning his attention to the UFC middleweight champion. “Now listen, Alex Pereira, I want to chama on your mama.”
With the victory, Hokit improved his professional record to 10-0, including a 4-0 start in the UFC. Lewis, a heavyweight known as “The Black Beast,” was unable to halt the rising contender’s momentum at UFC White House.
