Johnny Manziel is set to step into the ring on May 23, when he boxes social media personality Bob Menery at the UFC's Meta APEX in an exhibition bout.
The matchup will be part of an event promoted by Adin Ross' Brand Risk Promotions and is expected to stream on YouTube, Kick, and other platforms. The bout is billed as an exhibition and will take place inside the UFC's virtual venue.
Brand Risk Promotions, which has already staged 13 events, is known for cards that blend professional and exhibition contests and frequently feature influencers and celebrities.
Manziel enters the event as a 2012 Heisman Trophy winner and former Texas A&M quarterback who was drafted by the Cleveland Browns and appeared in 15 NFL games over two seasons.
