Joe Rogan Joins Donald Trump as Psychedelic FDA Order Is Signed
18-04-26

Joe Rogan was in the Oval Office today as Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at accelerating FDA approval for psychedelic treatments.

The order directs the FDA to speed up reviews of new treatments in advanced stages of clinical trials, including multiple psychedelic substances such as Ibogaine. It also allows terminally ill patients to participate in clinical trials for treatments not yet approved by the FDA.

Rogan described his role in getting the issue in front of Trump, saying, "I wanna tell everybody how this happened," before adding, "I send President Trump some information. With one dose of Ibogaine, more than 80% of people are free of addiction. With two doses, it’s more than 90%. I sent him that information. The text message came back: ‘Sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let’s do it.’ It was literally that quick!"

Trump, who appeared with Rogan after they were seen being friendly at UFC 327, said, "I got a call from a number of people, including the great Joe Rogan," and added, "And he said we have to do something about this, and I looked into it." Trump also remarked, "Joe Rogan is a little more liberal, but that’s okay."

Ibogaine has been a frequent topic for Rogan, and Conor McGregor credits Ibogaine for saving his life and putting him back on the path of God.
