Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg squared up for a second time during UFC 327 fight week, intensifying the build to their vacant light heavyweight title clash in Miami on Saturday.
The pair faced off following the pre-fight press conference, where Prochazka drew the loudest cheers from the Miami crowd. Ulberg, by contrast, was booed when he spoke during the event. UFC president Dana White closely monitored their staredown to ensure there was no physical altercation.
Prochazka and Ulberg meet in the UFC 327 main event for a light heavyweight belt left vacant after Alex Pereira relinquished the title. The UFC 327 main card airs on Paramount+ and is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Saturday.
Pereira vacated the 205-pound title to move to heavyweight and is scheduled to face Ciryl Gane at the UFC White House card in June. Prochazka is targeting a second reign as UFC light heavyweight champion, while Ulberg enters on a nine-fight win streak and is looking to secure his first UFC championship.
