Veteran lightweight Jim Miller is set to face Jared Gordon in a featured bout at UFC 328 on May 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
The matchup will mark Miller’s 46th walk to the octagon, as he meets Gordon in a lightweight contest under the UFC banner. The two were previously scheduled to fight at UFC on ESPN 46 in June 2023, but Gordon was pulled after not being medically cleared.
Miller holds a professional record of 38-19 MMA and 27-18 UFC, and he extended his UFC record for most wins in company history by submitting Damon Jackson at UFC 309. He has won three of his past five bouts and most recently lost a unanimous decision to Chase Hooper at UFC 314 last April.
Gordon enters UFC 328 with a 21-8 MMA record and a 9-7 mark in the UFC. He has split his past two appearances, knocking out Thiago Moises last May before being stopped by Rafa Garcia at UFC Fight Night 259 this past September.
