Jena Bishop made a statement at PFL San Diego, submitting Ariane da Silva in the first round at Pechanga Arena San Diego.
Bishop needed just 4:08 to secure an armbar finish, ending the bout in Round 1 and extending her current winning streak to two consecutive victories.
With the result, Bishop improves her professional record to 11-3. Her only career losses have come against Taila Santos, Dakota Ditcheva, and Liz Carmouche.
Da Silva, a former UFC fighter, entered the matchup with an 18-12 record and riding momentum from a PFL debut win over Sumiko Inaba by unanimous decision in March. The defeat marks her first loss under the PFL banner.
