Jason Jackson made a thunderous statement at Bellator’s Rousey vs. Carano event, stopping Jeff Creighton in just 22 seconds in a welterweight bout at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.
Jackson floored Creighton with a left hook early in Round 1 and sealed the knockout with follow-up strikes on the preliminary portion of the card.
After the fight, the former Bellator champion voiced his frustration about not being featured higher up the lineup. “You guys are sleeping on me – I should be on the main card making noise,” Jackson said.
He doubled down on his self-belief, adding, “I'm a world class champion. I've been a champion of every organization I've been in and this is how I perform when I have my mind made up.”
Jackson entered the fight with a 20-6 record, while Creighton came in at 12-3-1.
