Jan Blachowicz vs. Bogdan Guskov Rematch Rebooked for Serbia Card

Jan Blachowicz and Bogdan Guskov are set to run it back, with their light heavyweight rematch rebooked for UFC Fight Night 283 on August 1 at Belgrade Arena in Serbia.

The matchup was originally slated for UFC 328 before Blachowicz withdrew due to a meniscus tear in his knee. UFC officials have now confirmed the fight will headline the promotion’s first-ever event in Serbia.

Blachowicz and Guskov previously fought to a draw at UFC 323 in December, leaving their rivalry unresolved heading into the summer rematch.

Blachowicz is a former 205-pound champion who won the vacant title in 2020 against Dominick Reyes and defended it against Israel Adesanya before losing the belt to Glover Teixeira in October 2021. He later drew with Magomed Ankalaev for a vacant title and then dropped consecutive bouts to Alex Pereira and Carlos Ulberg.

Guskov entered his draw with Blachowicz on a four-fight winning streak, all by stoppage, with bonus-winning victories over Zac Pauga and Ryan Spann and a first-round finish of Nikita Krylov.
