Iwo Baraniewski made a statement at UFC Fight Night 278, stopping Junior Tafa by TKO just 1:25 into the first round of their light heavyweight bout.
The matchup took place on the main card at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, where Baraniewski quickly closed the show to continue his run of fast finishes inside the Octagon.
With the victory, Baraniewski moves to 9-0 in MMA and 3-0 in the UFC. All three of his UFC wins have come by TKO, with a combined finish time of just 3:22.
Tafa, who accepted the bout on short notice, drops to 7-6 in MMA and 3-6 in the UFC, and is now 1-3 in his most recent four fights.
