Iwo Baraniewski made a statement at UFC Fight Night 278, stopping Junior Tafa in under 90 seconds and immediately turning his attention to the light heavyweight rankings.

Baraniewski finished Tafa on the main card at Meta APEX, improving his professional record to 9-0 in MMA and 3-0 in the UFC. All nine of his wins have come by first-round stoppage, while Tafa now sits at 7-6 in MMA and 3-6 in the UFC.

After the quick win, Baraniewski made his intentions clear. "I would like to fight with somebody from top 15," he said. "I don't have an opponent, but I want somebody from top 15."

Baraniewski also reflected on the streak he is building. "Yes, I want, I want. I would like to fight three rounds, but it is what it is. I saw the occasion, I take it," he said, before adding through another comment, "It's a very good feeling because it's nine fights, nine in the first round, so I built the legend."

A rising contender in the UFC light heavyweight division, Baraniewski has now set his sights firmly on a ranked opponent for his next outing.
