Ilia Topuria has revealed a new white rose specifically for Justin Gaethje ahead of their lightweight title unification bout at UFC Freedom 250.
Topuria will defend and unify the UFC lightweight title against interim titleholder Gaethje in the main event of UFC Freedom 250, which takes place Sun., June 14, 2026, on the South Lawn in Washington, D.C. The card is part of celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary.
The UFC has released a new promotional video for the event, with Topuria leaning further into his signature persona, captured in the single phrase: "El Matador."
Topuria’s white rose for Gaethje continues his symbolic theatrical gesture tied to traditional bullfighting culture. His roses are intended as a sign of respect and condolence to opponents and their teams, while also serving as a warning sign and a key piece of his fight-week mystique, with each rose representing his opponent.
