UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria and interim titleholder Justin Gaethje visited the White House on Wednesday afternoon, meeting U.S. President Donald Trump less than a month before they headline UFC Freedom Fights 250.

Topuria and Gaethje were joined by Alex Pereira for the visit, which comes ahead of UFC Freedom Fights 250 on June 14, set for the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C.

The event will celebrate the U.S. 250th anniversary along with Donald Trump's 80th birthday, with Topuria defending his lightweight belt against Gaethje in the main event. Gaethje is also known by the nickname "The Highlight".

Topuria enters the card as the undefeated Georgian-Spanish champion, holding a 17-0 MMA record and 9-0 mark in the UFC after claiming the vacant lightweight title by knockout of Charles Oliveira at UFC 317 last June.

Gaethje brings a 27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC record into the matchup, having secured the interim lightweight title for a second time by defeating Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324 in January.
