Ilia Topuria will put his undefeated record and championship status on the line against Justin Gaethje in a lightweight title unification bout headlining UFC White House this Sunday at the White House in Washington, D.C.
Topuria enters the main event at 17-0 and already holds UFC titles at both 155 and 145 pounds. He captured the lightweight belt in June 2025, then unsuccessfully pursued a superfight with Islam Makhachev before stepping away for personal matters.
Known as “El Matador,” Topuria now returns to face Gaethje, who fights under the moniker “The Highlight.”
Gaethje has twice claimed interim UFC lightweight gold and previously came up short in a unification bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov. He secured this latest shot at undisputed status by earning consecutive victories over Paddy Pimblett and Rafael Fiziev.
The matchup will determine the unified lightweight champion under the UFC banner, with both men carrying championship credentials into a high-stakes main event in Washington, D.C.
