Just weeks removed from a brutal title loss, Ilia Topuria was back in the spotlight on Sunday as he celebrated Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
Topuria, who grew up and lives in Spain, was filmed at a watch party surrounded by fans as Spain clinched its second World Cup, capping a tournament in which the team conceded only one goal over eight games.
In the celebration video, Topuria is seen with his son on his shoulders, singing along to his walkout song, "Cancion del Mariachi," as the crowd revels in "La Roja's" historic run.
The joyous scenes come after a tough night for the UFC star at UFC Freedom 250 on the White House South Lawn, where he lost the UFC lightweight title to Justin Gaethje via fourth-round stoppage after suffering orbital fractures.
