Gabriel Bonfim scored the biggest win of his career so far, defeating Belal Muhammad by unanimous decision in the main event of UFC Fight Night 278.
The welterweight clash headlined the UFC card at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, where Bonfim did enough on the judges’ scorecards to secure the victory over the veteran contender.
With the win, Bonfim improves his professional record to 20-1 in MMA and 7-1 in the UFC, further solidifying his momentum inside the promotion.
Muhammad, whose record now stands at 24-6 in MMA and 15-6 in the UFC, has now dropped three consecutive fights following the result in Las Vegas.
