Francis Ngannou and Philipe Lins went face to face in Manhattan on Wednesday, squaring up in a staredown at a press conference for their upcoming heavyweight clash.
The bout is set as the co-main event of the May 16 PFL card, which takes place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, under the banner of the "Rousey vs. Carano" event. Wednesday’s media stop was held at Palladium Times Square in New York.
Ngannou and Lins previously shared a respectful staredown during an on-sale press conference in April, and they renewed that faceoff on stage as the matchup draws closer.
Francis Ngannou recently left the PFL and joined Most Valuable Promotion's venture into MMA. Across the cage, Philipe Lins enters the matchup as a 2018 PFL champion and a six-fight UFC veteran.
