Four Fighters Hospitalized for Precautionary Checks After UFC Vegas 115

Four fighters were transported to a Las Vegas hospital for precautionary evaluation following their bouts at UFC Vegas 115 on Sat., April 4, 2026, at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC officials confirmed that Chris Duncan, Lando Vannata, Hailey Cowan, and Melissa Gatto were all sent for medical checks after their fights. Duncan underwent precautionary CT scans of his head and face after a second-round submission loss to Renato Moicano in the main event, which marked his first UFC main event appearance and ended a four-fight win streak.

Vannata was transported for precautionary scans of his head, face, abdomen, and pelvis following a TKO loss to Darrius Flowers. The bout was Vannata’s return from a three-year layoff and extended his skid to three consecutive defeats.

On the preliminary card, Cowan was sent for precautionary CT scans of her head and face after a knockout loss to Alice Pereira. Gatto was transported for evaluation of her head after a majority decision loss to Dione Barbosa that included an illegal soccer kick. Gatto had been sidelined for nearly two years before this bout and now holds a 3-3 record in the promotion.

The action-packed night in "Sin City" left the UFC relying on thorough precautionary protocols to assess all four athletes post-fight.
