Renan Ferreira is set to return to action in the co-main event of UAE Warriors 72, where he will face Khusein Adamov on July 23 at Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi.
The heavyweight bout will be part of a card that streams on UFC Fight Pass. Ferreira enters the matchup on a three-fight losing streak, with recent setbacks against Francis Ngannou, Vadim Nemkov and Sergey Bilostenniy.
Ferreira is a former PFL heavyweight champion and the 2023 PFL heavyweight season winner. He last had his hand raised in February 2024, when he finished Ryan Bader in 21 seconds.
Adamov comes in with 12 finishes in 14 professional wins and is unbeaten in four of his past five fights. He most recently competed in May 2025, fighting to a split draw with Yerlan Shakishev for the Naiza FC heavyweight title.
