A key bantamweight showdown has been added to UFC Vegas 119, as Ethyn Ewing is set to face undefeated Farid Basharat on June 20 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
The UFC officially announced the matchup as part of a new batch of bouts for the card, which is headlined by a flyweight main event between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi.
Ewing enters the men’s bantamweight bout with a 10-2 professional record and momentum from back-to-back wins over Rafael Estevam and Malcolm Wellmaker, opponents who held a combined 24-0 record before facing him.
Basharat brings a perfect 15-0 record into the fight. He joined the UFC in 2023 and has won his first six bouts for the promotion, including victories over Jean Matsumoto, Chris Gutierrez, and Da’Mon Blackshear.
Also added to UFC Vegas 119, Karol Rosa will meet Luana Santos in a women’s bantamweight bout, while Bia Mesquita is slated to face Melissa Mullins.
Other announced matchups for the event include Jhonata Diniz vs. Jose Montanha, Ion Cutelaba vs. Navajo Stirling, Gaston Bolanos vs. Michael Aswell, Melsik Baghdasaryan vs. Murtazali Magomedov, Andre Lima vs. Kevin Borjas, Hyder Amil vs. Christian Rodriguez, and Allan Nascimento vs. Mitch Raposo.
