A key women’s flyweight bout has been removed from UFC 330, as Erin Blanchfield has withdrawn from her scheduled fight with Jasmine Jasudavicius due to injury.
The matchup was slated for Aug. 15 at UFC 330, taking place at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, but the promotion has pulled the bout following Blanchfield’s injury.
The fight between Blanchfield and Jasudavicius is expected to be rescheduled to a later date. This marks the first time Blanchfield has withdrawn from a bout in her more than five-year UFC tenure.
Blanchfield holds a 14-2 professional record and is 8-1 in the UFC, currently riding a two-fight winning streak with victories over Rose Namajunas and Tracy Cortez.
Jasudavicius owns a 15-4 professional record and is 9-3 in the UFC. She most recently defeated Karine Silva by unanimous decision in April, rebounding from a prior loss to Manon Fiorot.
