Eddie Hearn Rejects ‘Peace’ Call, Says He Wants War With Dana White

Eddie Hearn says he has no interest in cooling his rivalry with Dana White, despite Turki Alalshikh urging major boxing power brokers to settle their differences.

Turki Alalshikh recently revealed he is battling cancer and a brain tumor and has called for boxing promoters, including Hearn and White, to make peace. Hearn, however, made clear he is enjoying the back-and-forth with the UFC boss, which flared after Dana White signed Conor Benn to Zuffa Boxing and Hearn struck a representation deal with Tom Aspinall.

"I've got to be honest: this war that I'm in with Dana White, I find so enjoyable, and I missed it when I made friends with Frank Warren, right? Because for 15 years, I battled with Warren," Hearn said, later adding, "If you ask me, I don't really want peace. I want war – but in a good way."

Hearn stressed that his stance comes with respect for Alalshikh and his influence through Riyadh Season. "I respect Turki so much for what he's done for the sport, and he's always been very good to me, us, our fighters," Hearn said. He also noted ongoing contractual issues around the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight involving Zuffa Boxing as a key factor.

"I'll always sit down with Turki and try and do business with him," Hearn said. "But I like the carnage, and he does as well. Don't just be fooled by the peace talk. He loves the carnage."
