Dominick Reyes Edges Johnny Walker by Split Decision at UFC 327

Dominick Reyes walked out of the Kaseya Center in Miami with a narrow split-decision victory over Johnny Walker in their UFC 327 matchup.

Reyes earned the win on the scorecards with tallies of 29-28, 28-29 and 29-28, improving his record to 16-5 in MMA and 10-5 in the UFC. Walker, who came up just short on the judges’ cards, dropped to 22-10 overall and 8-7 inside the Octagon.

The bout, which many expected to end in a knockout, drew blunt reactions on the broadcast. Jon Anik remarked there was "not much to commentate," while Joe Rogan added, "that's a nice way of saying this fight sucks."

Reyes, a former title challenger, nevertheless secured a much-needed win on a night where the scorecards told the story in Miami.
