Diego Lopes will face Steve Garcia in the opening bout of UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday, with the card taking place at the White House in Washington DC.
Lopes enters the matchup with a 27-8 professional record and a 6-3 mark in the UFC. He is coming off a second title shot loss in a rematch against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 325, after previously stopping Jean Silva in the second round at Noche UFC.
Garcia brings a 19-5 professional record and an 8-2 UFC slate into the fight. He is riding a seven-fight winning streak and most recently competed in his first UFC main event, where he stopped David Onama in the first round.
Lopes and Garcia are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 8:10 p.m. ET, with the fight streaming live on Paramount+. FanDuel lists Lopes at -160 and Garcia at +130 for the matchup.
