Darren Till is heading to bare-knuckle competition, signing with BKFC and locking in a main event slot on May 30 at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England.
BKFC officials confirmed the deal to MMA Junkie following an initial report from Ariel Helwani, adding that Till’s debut for the promotion will take place at 185 pounds. An opponent for the headliner has not yet been finalized.
The former UFC welterweight title challenger has competed just three times since parting ways with the UFC after a December 2022 loss to Dricus Du Plessis.
During that stretch, Till also turned to boxing, taking part in three matches, including one professional bout in August under the Misfits Boxing banner in which he knocked out former UFC champion Luke Rockhold.
Now, Till’s next chapter will unfold under the BKFC banner in front of a home crowd in Birmingham.
