Darren Till made a victorious bareknuckle debut at BKFC 90, stopping Aaron Chalmers by TKO in the co-main event at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England.
Till closed the show just 22 seconds into Round 2, landing a straight left hand that ended the contest and moved him to 1-0 in bareknuckle boxing. The result handed Chalmers his first BKFC defeat, dropping him to 2-1.
The finish came after an early scare in Round 1, when Till was dropped to a knee by a short left hand from Chalmers. Till recovered and turned the momentum before securing the stoppage in the second frame.
Speaking after the win, Till summed up his feelings in blunt fashion: "I was f*cking made for this sh*t,".
Till’s appearance at BKFC 90 followed his 2023 departure from the UFC and a run of three gloved boxing matches against MMA notables. Chalmers, a former professional MMA fighter, entered the bout with seven MMA fights on his record, including four in Bellator, where he went 2-2 and 5-2 overall as a pro.
