Veteran featherweight Darren Elkins is set to make his 31st walk to the Octagon when he faces Yadier del Valle at UFC Fight Night 284 on Aug. 8.
The three-round featherweight bout is booked for the UFC’s return to Meta APEX in Las Vegas, giving Elkins another high-mileage outing in a career that began with his promotional debut in March 2010.
Elkins has not competed since an April 2025 knockout loss to Julian Erosa, which halted a two-fight winning streak.
Del Valle, meanwhile, looks to rebound from a unanimous decision defeat to Jordan Leavitt in February. Before that setback, he opened his UFC run with back-to-back first-round submission wins over Connor Matthews and Isaac Dulgarian.
UFC Fight Night 284 takes place Aug. 8 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
