UFC Freedom 250 is set to bring Hollywood to Washington, as Dana White has named a packed celebrity guest list for the June 14 event on the White House South Lawn.
White stated that Tom Brady, Dwayne Johnson, Adam Sandler, Jared Leto, Mario Lopez, Jason Statham, and Guy Ritchie have been invited to attend the invite-only show, which is expected to host 4,300 people, including 1,200 active military members. One of the invitees was referenced simply as "The Rock."
The card features title fights between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, and between Ciryl Gane and Alex Pereira for the interim heavyweight title. Additional bouts include Sean O'Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi, Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis, Michael Chandler vs. Mauricio Ruffy, Kyle Daukaus vs. Bo Nickal, and Steve Garcia vs. Diego Lopes.
Fans without an invitation will still be able to take in the action on big screens at The Ellipse, which will hold up to 85,000 people. Construction for the event structure, including an overhead "claw," began this week on the South Lawn.
UFC Freedom 250 has been pitched as an early celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary, and the date also falls on president Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
