Conor McGregor Belts Out Oasis at UFC 329 Press Conference

Conor McGregor turned the UFC 329 pre-fight press conference into a singalong on Thursday, breaking into Oasis’ “Wonderwall” in front of fans as he continued to hype his long-awaited return.

The former two-division UFC champion, who is coming back after five years away, was asked to compare his comeback to a planned Oasis reunion tour in 2025. McGregor responded by singing part of the Brit-rock classic for the crowd.

“The boys are in town I believe,” McGregor said, adding, “The Gallaghers are in town so I like the Oasis lads. It’s good. I can’t wait to see Oasis.”

McGregor also tried to drag fellow UFC name Paddy Pimblett into the moment, calling out, “Paddy, where was the back up?” and “I needed back up there!” after his impromptu rendition.

Liam and Noel Gallagher have attended UFC events in the past, and on Thursday their music briefly took center stage as McGregor used the press conference to blend fight promotion with a bit of Oasis-flavored showmanship ahead of UFC 329.
