Ciryl Gane and Alex Pereira squared up for the first time on the White House South Lawn, setting the tone for their co-headlining clash at UFC Freedom 250.
The heavyweight and former two-division champion shared their first staredown on the South Lawn, which will be transformed into the venue for their bout on June 14 in Washington. The faceoff came after Gane and Pereira visited the Oval Office, where they previously met president Donald Trump alongside Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje.
UFC Freedom 250 will see Gane enter as a former interim heavyweight champion with a 13-2 MMA record and 10-2 mark in the UFC. Across from him will be Pereira, a former middleweight and light heavyweight champion holding a 13-3 MMA record and 10-2 in the UFC.
