Bryce Mitchell Gets Late-Notice New Opponent for UFC Vegas 118
31-05-26

Bryce Mitchell has a new dance partner for UFC Vegas 118, as he’s now set to face Santiago Luna on the main card after a late opponent change.

Luna steps in on nine days' notice to replace Victor Henry, who withdrew for undisclosed reasons. The event goes down this Saturday at Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Luna, who carries the nickname "Border Boy", is unbeaten as a professional at 8-0 and has won his first two UFC bouts, including a knockout of Quang Le and a decision over Angel Pacheco.

Mitchell enters the matchup with an 18-3 record, coming off a unanimous decision win over Said Nurmagomedov at UFC Abu Dhabi in July 2025. That bout marked his successful UFC debut at 135 pounds after previously competing at featherweight.

UFC Vegas 118 is headlined by a welterweight clash between Belal Muhammad and Gabriel Bonfim. MMA Latinoamérica was the first outlet to report the new bout.
