Brendan Farnsworth claimed an amateur lightweight title in highlight-reel fashion at UNF 34, locking up a buggy choke submission to secure the belt in Commerce, Calif.
The 26-year-old finished previously unbeaten Rafayel Ktikyan in their amateur lightweight title bout, using the unorthodox choke to close the show.
With the victory, Farnsworth improves his amateur record to 6-1, adding a championship win to his résumé at UNF 34.
