Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan are booked for a high-stakes middleweight showdown on the UFC Fight Night 278 main card this Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
The matchup serves as the co-main event, pitting Allen’s recent surge against Shahbazyan’s momentum. Allen enters with a 26-7 MMA record and a 14-4 mark in the UFC, riding back-to-back wins that include a unanimous decision over Marvin Vettori and a TKO of Reinier de Ridder.
Shahbazyan comes in at 16-5 in MMA and 9-5 in the UFC after a perfect 3-0 run in 2025. He most recently scored a first-round finish of Andre Muniz at UFC 320 and has been training with Erick Nicksick and the Xtreme Couture MMA team.
Ahead of fight night, FanDuel lists Allen as a -188 favorite, with Shahbazyan a +152 underdog for their co-main event clash.
