Bogdan Guskov is stepping into the spotlight, taking a short-notice main event against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC Fight Night 282 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Guskov replaces injured Khalil Rountree Jr. and will face Ankalaev in a scheduled five-round bout. The matchup comes after Guskov’s first-round knockout win over Nikita Krylov at UFC on ABC 9 in Abu Dhabi, which marked his fourth victory inside the UFC octagon.
Guskov enters the Ankalaev showdown with an 18-3-1 MMA record and a 4-1-1 mark in the UFC. Ankalaev brings a 21-2-1 overall record and a 12-2-1 slate in the UFC into the Etihad Arena headliner.
The main event continues a busy run in Abu Dhabi for Guskov, who secured his statement knockout over Krylov there back in July 2025.
