The betting market remains locked in on Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane, with odds still sitting at a true pick'em ahead of their interim heavyweight title fight at UFC Freedom 250.
Pereira opened as a slight favorite over Gane, but the line quickly tightened and has stayed even for nearly two months. FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists the matchup at -113 on both sides. The bout headlines UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 at the White House in Washington, D.C., airing on Paramount+.
UFC and FanDuel betting analyst Minty Bets has been closely watching the number. "I was actually shocked that Alex Pereira was a pick'em against Gane, and that this line has held steady since opening," she said, pointing to contrasting questions and strengths on both sides.
"Because we know what Pereira is capable of. But, with this move up in weight we don't know how he'll do. And this is a lot of respect on Gane with this line. Because I feel like he should be a dog. But with the experience and the fact he is a very good heavyweight fighter, I think it says a lot about Gane, more than it does Alex."
With the price holding at -113 either way, Bets is in no rush. "At -113 both ways this is kind of a spot where I would rather wait for weigh-ins to see if there's any line moves or line changes, rather than force a side early. Because obviously -113 either way, it looks tempting. But I would rather wait this one out."
