Gervonta Davis is facing fresh legal trouble, with an arrest warrant issued in Baltimore for violating his probation tied to a 2020 car crash.

According to court information, Davis has remained on probation for more than three years after pleading guilty to four traffic offenses and is accused of violating that probation in 2025 by traveling to Baltimore from Florida without permission.

Davis also faces charges of kidnapping or attempt, battery and false imprisonment related to an alleged incident involving a former girlfriend at a strip club in Miami Gardens on Oct. 27. Security video at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami Gardens captured the alleged incident involving Davis, according to a club manager and an incident report.

Amid the legal issues, the World Boxing Association has ordered Davis to fight Floyd Schofield for the WBA lightweight belt he has held since 2023. Davis has not fought since a March 2025 bout against Lamont Roach Jr. that ended in a controversial majority draw.

Davis had been scheduled to face Jake Paul in an exhibition on Nov. 14, 2025, but the matchup was canceled days after his ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit.
