Anthony Hernandez will face Gregory Rodrigues in the main event of UFC Sacramento on Aug. 22, with the card streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S.
The matchup pits two recent headliners against each other. Hernandez is looking to rebound from a third-round TKO loss to Sean Strickland in the main event of February’s UFC Houston card.
Before the setback against Strickland, Hernandez had built an eight-fight winning streak, with six of those victories coming inside the distance.
Rodrigues, meanwhile, returns to a main event slot after previously losing to Jared Cannonier in the headliner of UFC Vegas 102 in February 2025. Since that defeat, he has put together three straight wins, including two first-round knockouts that earned Performance of the Night bonuses.
The Hernandez vs. Rodrigues booking was first reported by the Instagram account Connected MMA, with Damon Martin contributing to the report on the UFC Sacramento main event.
