All fighters successfully made weight for UFC Fight Night: Song vs. Figueiredo in Macau, China, setting the stage for this Saturday, May 30th.
Headliners Song Yadong and Deiveson Figueiredo capped off weigh-ins with an aggressive faceoff that required UFC executive David Shaw to intervene, adding extra intensity to their matchup.
Song enters the bout after a close decision loss to Sean O’Malley in January, while Figueiredo is looking to rebound from a one-sided decision loss to Umar Nurmagomedov.
In the heavyweight division, Tallison Teixeira, who is 9-1 in MMA and 2-1 in the UFC, is currently ranked No. 15 and set to compete against No. 3-ranked Sergei Pavlovich. Pavlovich went 2-0 in 2025 with two decision wins following a two-fight losing streak.
Elsewhere on the card, Zhang Mingyang returns after having a 12-fight win streak snapped by Johnny Walker in August 2025, and Alonzo Menifield is back in action after being finished by Volkan Oezdemir in November 2025.
One fighter appeared particularly fired up at the ceremonial faceoffs, proclaiming "Mountain Tiger" as the crowd reacted in Macau.
